The marque
The story of Hanse.
Hanse builds on the Baltic coast at Greifswald, and in a single generation has grown from a start-up into one of the largest yacht builders in the world. The philosophy has never really changed: fast cruising, made easy. A Hanse is drawn so that a couple can sail her hard without ever leaving the cockpit.
That idea, a genuinely quick hull that two people can handle, is what put the marque on the map. It is why Hanse yachts are found everywhere from weekend club fleets to long ocean passages.

Build & design
Engineered with intent.
Every Hanse begins with a Judel/Vrolijk hull, from the same design office behind Grand Prix race winners, married to a stiff, powerful shape with twin rudders that keeps her tracking when she heels. Sail controls run aft to twin helms, and the self-tacking jib means tacking is a single, effortless movement.
Inside, the modern, light-filled interiors are built to be lived in, with large hull windows and a level of customisation unusual at this scale. You specify the boat rather than choosing from a shortlist.

As your agent we handle the whole arrival: import, antifoul and commissioning in Australian waters, rig tune and a proper sea trial before we hand her over. Warranty, scheduled servicing and genuine parts are all coordinated locally through our team.
Because a Hanse is specified rather than bought off a lot, we stay involved from the first sketch to well past handover. The same people who ordered your boat are the ones who look after her.

Under sail
Under sail a Hanse is quick but forgiving. She rewards trimming and holds a lively turn of speed, yet reefs down and settles when the breeze builds, and a shorthanded crew is never overwhelmed. It is fast cruising in the truest sense: pace you can enjoy without a full crew.
