Overview

The 510 brings flagship volume and a genuinely powerful sail plan into a yacht a couple can still manage. Berret-Racoupeau drew a long-waterlined, beamy hull that turns pace into comfort; a self-tacking jib and powered winches at the twin helms keep even this 52-footer realistically shorthanded.

Her interior is configured like an apartment afloat — a vast saloon, a full galley and a choice of owner's and guest arrangements, finished to Hanse's clean, contemporary standard. A shallow (1.98 m) or L-keel (2.43 m) option and an 80 hp saildrive — 110 hp optional — round out a yacht built for serious, comfortable distance.

Flagship space and performance, without a flagship's crew.
