Who this covers

This policy explains how World Wide Boat Brokers (“WWBB”, “we”, “us”) handles the personal information you share with us through this website. We keep it plain: we ask for what we need to help you, and no more.

What we collect

When you make an enquiry, request an appraisal, or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the details you choose to provide , your name, email address, phone number, your message, and, where relevant, the boat you’re enquiring about.

How we use it

We use these details to respond to your enquiry and manage it through to a helpful outcome , replying to you, arranging inspections or appraisals where appropriate, and keeping track of the conversation so nothing slips through the cracks.

Where it’s stored, and who helps us

Your enquiry is stored securely in our database, hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL) in the Sydney, Australia region. To run this website and respond to you, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers, each of which may process your information on our behalf:

  • Netlify, website hosting.
  • Supabase, database and file storage (Sydney, Australia).
  • Resend, sends the email notifications that alert our brokers to your enquiry.
  • Monday.com, our customer-relationship management (CRM) tool, where enquiries are recorded so the team can follow up (used when this integration is enabled).
  • Google Analytics (GA4), website usage analytics, to understand how visitors use the site (used when enabled; this sets analytics cookies in your browser).
  • Meta / Instagram, our homepage shows our latest Instagram posts, which load directly from Meta’s servers.

Cookies & analytics

When Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure how the site is used , pages viewed, general location and device type. You can block or clear these at any time through your browser settings. The Instagram feed on our homepage loads content from Meta, which may set its own cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, and only so we can operate the site and respond to you. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to help you and to maintain our ordinary business records, and remove them when they are no longer required.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just get in touch and we’ll help.
