NEW MOODY 54 DECKSALOON | AVAILABLE TO ORDER | FLAGSHIP BLUEWATER DECK SALOON The 54 is the flagship of the Moody range and the yacht the whole deck saloon concept builds towards. The panoramic saloon glazing runs into a full glass roof with four opening hatches, and at anchor the effect on the interior is genuinely difficult to describe until you have stood in it. Twelve hull windows below, six opening coachroof portlights and an opening window in the cockpit keep her ventilated and connected throughout. She is the only yacht in the Moody range on a shaft drive rather than a saildrive, turning a four-blade folding propeller, with a retractable 24 V bowthruster and electronic throttle control at the helm. The rig uses an electric in-mast furling system, so setting and reducing sail happens from the helm at the push of a button. Two Lewmar 65 cast electric winches, a 2000 W windlass with wireless remote and chain counter, and a 40 kg Delta anchor on 60 metres of chain. Below there are four cabins and three heads. A master forward with an island double and en-suite shower stall, a VIP to port with a longitudinal queen berth and separate head, a guest cabin to starboard, and an aft cabin to port with its own head and a utility room opposite. The U-galley faces into the saloon with a three-burner stove, oven and 130 litre fridge, and there is a proper chart table to starboard.
