Moody 41DS
NEW MOODY 41 DECKSALOON | AVAILABLE TO ORDER | ONE-LEVEL BLUEWATER CRUISER The Moody deck saloon idea is straightforward, and once you have lived with it the appeal is hard to argue with. Everything happens on one level. No climbing up and down a companionway for a cup of tea, no losing sight of the crew when you go below, and no sitting in the rain because the alternative is being shut in a cave. The panoramic glazing and the central glass skylight mean the saloon stays connected to what is going on outside, whatever the weather is doing. The 41 is a Bill Dixon design and the smallest boat in the range, but the specification is unusually complete for the size. Two electric Lewmar 45 halyard winches, a 12 V bowthruster with its own battery, a combined mooring and anchor windlass with wireless remote and chain counter, and a 25 kg Delta anchor on 60 metres of galvanised chain, all as standard. A couple can genuinely handle her from day one. Below she gives you two cabins, a head with a separate shower stall, and a full L-galley with a three-burner stove, oven and a 130 litre fridge. The chart table sits opposite with a utility area under the saloon floor. Traditional mahogany joinery, New Zealand Acacia floorboards and Marine Mineral Stone worktops in Grained Black.
