About this vessel
Dehler 46SQ
NEW DEHLER 46 SQ | AVAILABLE TO ORDER | FLAGSHIP RACER CRUISER The 46 SQ is the flagship of the Dehler range and the most serious yacht the yard builds. The hull is vacuum infused over a PVC foam core rather than balsa sandwich, which makes her noticeably stiffer and lighter for her length, and that translates directly into how she accelerates and how she holds a groove upwind. At 11.5 tonnes on the standard keel with 3.5 tonnes of ballast, she has the stability to carry her 117.70 square metre sail plan properly. The rig and deck gear are specified for owners who sail hard. A hydraulic backstay tensioner, Dyneema halyards for main and jib, six Lewmar 50 Race winches, a manual flat-deck jib furler and Elvstrøm SPS full-battened sails. Four keel options run from a 1.85 m shallow keel to a 2.58 m competition fin, with an L-keel deep at 2.48 m in between. There is a possibility to opt for a taller, stiffer carbon mast with rod rigging for pin top mainsail and ultimate performance. Below she is a comfortable three-cabin cruiser. The master forward has an island double and its own head with a separate shower stall, there is a second head with shower to port off the saloon, and two aft cabins. The L-galley carries a three-burner stove and a 130 litre fridge, and there is 450 litres of fresh water aboard. Mahogany joinery, Australian Acacia soles, indirect saloon lighting and the SLS scenario lighting system through the saloon and master cabin.
